Coding 14 Gran Coupe

I've searched this forum and couldn't find anything recent the necessary steps and tools to code my vehicle. If anyone could guide me or link me to it, I'd appreciate it. I understand there are people and companies I could pay to do it but I rather code it myself to appreciate it more.

Depends what you want to code. I use carly and coded away the seat belt chime, added sports display, video in motion, changed low gas warning and some other items.

The other option is on a pc: http://blog.eobdtool.co.uk/full-down...w-coding-tool/

They don't list the M6, unless they're including it in "All 6 Series"?
Did you need the 20pin option or just the wifi unit? Looks like there's another device needed to reset service reminders that they offer too.

You code under the F12/F13 section. You get their obd2 dongle, bluetooth for Android, wifi for Apple (apple has a Bluetooth issue).

Alternatively, you could go the Carly or Bimmercode route.

It's fairly easy to DIY. I coded my 14 M6 GC (I have no computer/programming background) If you have any questions or need help, PM shawnsheridan. He helped me out a great deal.

does the Carly app work with any ODB interface or does it require the Carly adoptor itself? (as I already have the Veepeak OBDCheck BLE OBD2 Bluetooth adaptor)

While their proprietary adapters are the safest bet, many people are using generic ELM adapters which also work fine with Carly. I believe their adapters are more expensive but they probably also work the best and you have the full support should something not work.
