I think it looks far better, but I am not a fan of chrome, so there is that.
I guess it depends on the look you're going for. Chrome certainly has the more luxury aesthetic, whereas black (or a dark body color) evokes a more aggressive look. |

Looking pretty good with your paint!
Mine is a Silverstone Metallic II and it was not looking good with the grille all black, so i decided to mix the two together for a "custom finish" Lucid black outer - chrome inner |
