Silver stone interior

Hello, I take meticulous care of my interior, always cleaning using good quality products anytime I think something may have rubbed off but the drivers seat is starting to show significant wear and it appears more the leather is cracking or wearing vs color transferring onto it.

Wondering if there are any leather paints that I could use to touch up, will be tough to spray on the bolster with the stitching but I think that's only solution long term as it's wearing?

Have a look at Colourlock apparently it is a good product. I have Silverstone II and will use it as soon it is little warmer.

Hi Havy,

do you know which product from them is best to get in order to remove light stains from colored clothes (red from sweatshirt and light blue from jeans) which are affecting my driver's seat? My interior is "Extended Nappa Elfenbein Weiss" - pretty DELICATE for these sort of things.

This is why i opted for black, i fear that the longevity of silver -stone will not be great

they sell a kit, https://www.colourlock.com/colourloc...r-kit-dye.html I would say since your wear is mild at best, the mild cleaner will do a good job, I sent them pictures of my wear and they told me this kit with the mild cleaner would be perfect, again just too nervous to do it myself.

Yes Rag thanks for the suggestion. Mine is only slightly stained - for the rest leather is not worn at all but rather in top condition. Hope I will be able to remove those light but visible stains.

I have silverstone and had to get the colourlock as well. Airbrushed it on... and it has held very well... like new actually. It's hard to deal with the black stitching though.

Looks great. Ridiculously impractical as a color.

My drivers seat bolster (door side) is showing a bit of wear... minor. The rest of the vehicle is as new...a 2013 X6M...

Currently looking at 2014-16 M6 Cabrio’s but I won’t be Getting Silverstone again...

Been a bit busy so haven't done a good job of the repairs but started and the color lock works pretty well. This is good from a few feet, need to sand and really do it but certainly a huge step forward

I used a q tip and was very careful. Also since I was aiming at prelim job I didn't focus too much on complete cover or uniformity so didn't get to close to the stitching. Didn't use tape or anything. I did order the micro brushes recommended above and going to do anothe cost this weekend and I'll post
