If you're referring to the little black box that goes from the intake to the turbo, they are not upgraded on the S63tu. If you are stock turbo it is not necessary, if you do upgraded drop-in turbos like Pure they are still not needed.

World record cars like below have eliminated completely with a custom intake setup but that is required because of the larger turbo.
