Issue has been resolved! I took my car in to get the rotors replaces and explained that I was having lethargic downshifts. My SA was able to run my key to see if there were any software updates available which popped a DCT Transmission software update message.
Ever since the update the shifts have been quick and precise. It feels like an M6 again! |

That is good news!
Do you have any idea of the software version, etc? Any notes on your work order? I'd like to take mine in this week if possible and would love to be able to point the shop foreman in the right direction to save him some time. |

Other than that it just states that the vehicle was programmed to the "latest" software. Hope this helps! |

Thanks for the details!
I'd just like to at least be able to suggest to them what I believe worked to point them in the right direction (so they don't go off trying other things first). |

Hey, was wondering if there were anymore updates with this problem. Just recently picked up a Gran coupe and realized this was happening for the first 20 mins of driving.

The latest transmission software has fixed the issue.
Just go into the dealership, describe the problem, and ask them to update the software for the transmission. After they do that, everything should work as per normal. |

for those who needed the software or have the issue, what are you cars' build dates?
