2015 650i Exhaust Tip Replace
Previous Owner Crunched the driver side exhaust tip.
Help, I need ideas on fixing or replacing the tip. No other damage to exhaust. Dealer says Integrated into exhaust system so replace entire system on that side, I said ouch to $2800. The exhaust Pipe is really strong/hard. So: 1. Grind / Cut both tips off and replace with something else 2. Grind / Cut out part of both pipes so look the same 3. Find a pipe bender to straighten out the one 4. ??? I'm open. BTW I also have a new diffuser to replace the scratched one in the pic but plan to do everything at once. |

If you really like that look then the other poster on here was right, they are a pretty expensive piece to replace and a bear to take off neatly. If you are indifferent and dont mind a different look then I would shop them out and put new tips on. |

Ive seen the tip alone being sole online somewhere. i would cut the old one and weld a another one. not sure if it was black. but 80 bucks to powdercoat is a no brainer
