fuse location & number for convertible top module?
I'm trying to troubleshoot my convertible top malfunction, I can't figure out from the pictures which fuse is for that module. can someone shed some light on whether it's in the glove box or in the trunk and what location it is? thanks

Do you know that there is a fuse? Have you looked through/searched in NewTIS, the online repair manual? Here's the link for a 650 RWD, but you can back out one step and look for your actual model. Convertible top stuff will all be the same. But you can search "soft top" and get every hit regarding it.

Possibly F132 and/or F148 based on a generic search for the Convertible top module wiring diagram (click link below):

Blown Fuse on same car
My son dropped a dime down the lighter in the ash tray and blew the fuse. I can't find the fuse diagram. Any help finding the fuse diagram and locating which fuse I need to replace would be greatly appreciated.

(Which infuriatingly says nothing about actually fixing your car) quoting jdsaengine #54 fuse behind the glove box, 20amp. There is a red fuse puller on the fuse block in trunk. |

Accessing the glove box panel.
Certainly I can see it and can fiddle f@#K around to pull a fuse. Is the real answer to remove the glove box to access in a productive manner? Last edited by Deroberson; 02-27-2020 at 01:20 PM.. |

It is back there a ways, isn't it? I think you can buy longer fuse pullers at an auto parts store - kinda like needle nose pliers. I'd fiddle a while myself before I'd pull the glove box.
