Winter wheels for M6 gran coupe

I'm going to run my car in the winter and looking to buy a set of winter wheels. Just quick questions for someone who has some knowledge about it.

I know there is a set of 19" wheels, M408, 245/40/19, I can use for winter wheels, but I just don't like it. Is this the only 19" wheel that will clear the brake caliper on the 2015 M6 Gran Coupe?

I'm looking to buy after market wheels, Vorsteiner V-FF 103. Can a set of 19" Vorsteiner clear the front and rear brake calipers, or I have to go with 20"?

Ideally, I want 19" wheels for winter so the tires can have some meat on it. However, it looks like only the 19" wheels, M408, can clear the calipers, and aftermarket wheels have to be 20" to clear it. Correct me if I'm wrong there.

Greatly appreciated if someone can let me know!

I have a set of 19" 344 on mine... The previous owner swapped out the 20s for these for "added comfort."

I agree that 344 would be preferred. It's hard to find those wheels though

It looks like the F12 using the same rotors and calipers as the F06. I think it's reasonably to assume any 19" wheels will clear the steel brake calipers

Thanks, guy!

I wouldn't assume that. But OEM 344 19s will fit

Got it. However, the 344 is staggered and hard to find like you said. I think I'll have to go with 20" wheels squared setup or M408.

Thanks, guys!

I've got the proper Bmw set in my garage - only done one winter with me - and likely to sell the car and the wheels before Xmas. Let me know if you're interested and there may be a deal to be done

I would gladly get rid of my 344s for a set of 20s... They're even powder coated black

Yes, I'm in the US. In addition, I don't like those rims very much. I think I'll go with 20s and be done with it.

Thanks for the offer!

I have cheap 19" squared wheels (I think 245s), but I needed spacers for the wheels to clear the calipers in front. So be it. It's kind of stupid looking, but it works. I have Nokian Hakkepeliita or whatever snows on them.
