What the difference
So the other day I was driving an out my car into sport mode but decided to turn traction control of an then on my screen it says traction mode what’s the difference between this an sport + that turns traction control of but I’ve never seen it say traction mode?

It should be easy to find and you can see how BMW explains what happens when you turn off DSC (dynamic stability control) and the car goes into DTC (dynamic traction control). It basically allows more slippage of the wheels (for various road surfaces where you want some slip & forward movement)...the car won’t engage the other part of stability control (reducing engine throttle) to help gain traction when the wheels slip. EDIT: here’s one of the discussions of DTC from the owners manual:

So basically it still limits the power just not as much, but if I have traction control off all together then full power no computer to limit the car
