M6 Gran Coupe Manual Transmission Failure

I know this is a long shot, but I’m wondering if anyone has had any issues with the manual transmission in an M6 Gran Coupe. My girlfriend took the car on a four hour trip across the state and the transmission appears to be stuck in gear. She said it popped out of 6th gear while driving on the highway, then got hard to shift in stop-and-go traffic, then she parked it (in gear) for the day. When she returned to the car, the transmission is stuck in gear. No amount of tugging on the gear lever (with or without the clutch engaged) seems work. She received no warning lights, but I don’t know if that would be expected. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue. Thanks.

Have you checked the oil? If one of your seals leaking? The gearboxes are designed foro 700 hp or so.

That was my first thought. Unfortunately the car is across the state so we will have to flat bed the car to the nearest dealership. I checked our driveway for any fluids since she let this morning, and found nothing. Oh well?
