New wheels fitted tonight.
JR 34's in Platinum Bronze.

I feel the fronts are poking out a bit much and the rears not enough.
Might be looking at some new spacers in the near future...

Honest feedback, please.. :/
- Leo.

Super dirty, but had ARM Motorsport's 90mm exhaust tips fitted.

These are advertised for the M3/M4, so had to do some tack welds to keep them in place.
After installation I noticed the OEM pipe behind the tips is visible from certain angles, so I'll either paint or wrap them black to blend it all in.

Overall I'm happy.

Sorry for the poor quality...

Congrats on the purchase (even if it's a year late)! Singapore grey has to be one of my favorite colors! You'll have to shoot some interior pics too! What color interior did you end up with?

Front end Friday!
Really liking the look with the stance now..

Gotta refinish that front bumper ASAP, though.

The lip is perfect fit. It's very "cheap plastic", but that's perfect for me as it scrapes like crazy.

Maxton Design v.1. There is another version, too, more sleek looking without the cut-out in the center. There are plenty of threads showing more angles and whatnot..

So it finally happened.. loose road debris and just couldn't avoid it.
Ripped off the front lip, but a clean rip. No cracks or bends, and no damage to the bumper itself.

Sort of a best case scenario for a bad situation.
Will try and get it cleaned up and reinstall this weekend.

Drive safe, everyone.

Sorry to hear man, I'm in Ocala and roads are usually pretty decent here but H&R Springs make these things sit pretty damn low on the front end and I am nervous about putting my lip on.

Leo!

I am now lip free, went through 3 and became paranoid every time I drove and parked - especially with the front of the car so long.

Glad thats all it was, I ran over something metal and it bent it back enough I had to have it cosmetically repaired a bit.

Well, in true "shady mechanic" form, took the car in for an oil change and turns out I need new rear hub bearings.. I'm kidding on the shady part, these guys are friends.

Was doing more than just oil change, also, fixing a bunch of stuff. But yeah, when they were installing the rear spacers they realized (2) bolts on the driver's side were loose (not grabbing the hub) and (1) on the passenger side.

After a while we came to the conclusion replacing the hubs is the best solution.
Has anyone ever had this issue? Having to replace the rear hubs due to mis-threading of the bolts? Could constant work on/around the wheels cause this (taking wheels on/off a bunch of times)..?

Or could the fact that we lowered it recently have an impact here?
Any thoughts?

- Leo.

My thought on the damaged threads is that the wheels weren't torqued to spec when they were removed/re-installed multiple times. You shouldn't have to worry about wearing out the threads.

Car's back! Had a bunch of maintenance items taken care of since I just hit 100k miles the other week.

Shop did a cool fly-by video for their Instagram and shared these.
Of course I still have other issues to straighten out, but hey, it looks good! lol.
