PURE TURBOS Stage 1 Update

Hey fellas I trust everyone has been well through the pandemic. I am sure not any of us expected this. Here is just a minor update to my plans for 650. Which probably won’t be completely done for another few weeks at the minimum. But a lot of my subscribers on my channel had been asking for an update as well as a few of you. So please like, subscribe and enjoy and any questions I hope I can be helpful.

Nice! What supporting mods are you going with on the turbos and what's the expected outcome in power levels? This has my interests now.

Thanks! So the total plan is :
Custom intake System
DME Tune
Methanol injection

The exhaust system and downpipes are already in place.

I have never been one to like to quote power numbers without a dyno, however according to Pure Turbos... hold on I am insert a screen shot lol but 614-650 can be expected. I figure if I anticipate low (even you can even say 600 is low) than anything above is bonus. Here is a dyno sheet from maximumpsi of a build they did of V8_turbo650i build. I appreciate the input from him, as we chatted on IG. I BELIEVE he has since upgraded his intercoolers and some other mods, however being that mine is an Xdrive, I anticipate lower numbers. Just a little monster not a big monster lol.

Question.. what was the cause of your turbo upgrade? I have stage two flash tune and down pipes just wondering if your turbos went out on you so you decided to upgrade?


Where city is the shop that did your work?

No I had to have my block replaced, so while that was out. I had the turbos upgraded so I wouldn’t have to pay labor at a later date. The shop is in Houston,TX. I see you on the east coast. I am originally from Brooklyn, and probably would have hit up Maximum PSI in Jersey if I was still there. However people ship cars from all over the country to his shop.

Side Note.
If you are over 50000 miles and have not had your stock injectors replace I would strongly recommend doing so. Bad injectors was the source of my block being damaged. So, just check them so anyone can avoid having the same issue.
