Difficult to send due to the way it's stored.
There are 2 UK cars in San Marino Blue with Aragon Brown interior, GS38892 built 26th October 2015 and G522520 built 30 Nov 2015. |

It's the Aragon Brown that does it. It was only introduced in March 2015, there are only 12 RHD cars worldwide with it.

Yeah thought so. There were no cars to look at when I ordered, so we took a leap of faith on the leather.
12 RHD world wide? Probably explained why it took BMW 3 months to get a replacement door card sorted! |

Yes, good luck with getting spate interior trim pieces when the F06 ends production!

Mike (is it Mike isn't it), another old-guard here, and another M6GC. Been a few years hasn't it, been a fair few changes since the old days, but loving the M6GC - I got mine in August.
edit - in fact I've now noticed my sign-off is pretty out of date

Last I remember you just bought a white E92 M3 DCT? was that right? (edit - just read your sig) I can't help fettling though. Got myself into coding a bit and just retrofitted a heated steering wheel (full alcantara)... Last edited by doughboy; 01-10-2017 at 02:47 AM.. |

Jeez, there's some old timers on here, all upgraded to the biggest, baddest BMW. It's been so long I'm surprised some of you are still alive! Not as surprised as Roger having a car on his driveway long enough to take a photo (they normally get nicked quicker than that).
In my M6 days I got a totally standard one (the only 'mod' was having the genuine BMW Drivers Pack fitted in Germany) to 196mph on the 'bahn. Anyone here gone faster in their M6? |

Interested in your heated steering wheel mod - what's involved in that - easy to do - any restrictions - mines a 13 plate.

Yes Palmnuts, we're all still here! same as you by the looks of it!
Sorry to hear about that Roger, the joys of urban living... After we had our Mk4 Golf VR6 4mo stolen in 2003 when we lived in Didsbury (front door kicked off by 3 balaclava wearing thugs wielding screwdrivers & threatening to kill the mrs for the keys) it wasn't until 2011 when we moved to the Staffordshire countryside that we started sleeping properly again.... Not seen a policeman here in 5 years, let alone any burglars! And I have a couple of shotguns now too ..Steering wheel was more tricky than I thought. It's cost way more than the £250 factory option price, but I'll make some back when I sell it all before the car goes. Plus mines now a unique heated alcantara version which looks exactly like the BMWP one that costs a grand! http://www.6post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1340730 |

Hello peter, I recall you were an early taker of a cheap 640d lease? I think it was that which lead me to leasing my E63 then the M6. (What's the twig gag BTW?)
Roger, the BMW carbon boot lip spoiler would really look great on yours, it transforms the F06 rear end IMO. Cue another gratuitous shiny photo... Last edited by doughboy; 01-11-2017 at 03:00 PM.. |

Yup, I had a 640d on lease, that was nearly 5 years ago now! I am still leasing but much more price savvy these days, the 640 wasn't that cheap in comparison to some of the deals today. Your GC looks outstanding by the way, it is a HUGE car though! |

Thanks Peter,
It's not much bigger than the E63 estate but because you sit so low I find it a bitch to park and judge. Surround-view cameras have paid for themselves many times over in saved wheel damage. Absolutely essential... I'm a serial trawler of the PH lease thread and lease sites, almost addicted to finding new deals! |

Pete has caught funny-fucker-itis too!! I wouldn't worry about it Mike
They are massive things to park, I keep clipping the kerb with my front right alloy, but not enough to look too bad. Not wanting to mod this at all (although the heated wheel is appealing) - carbon attracts thieves - no carbon - no thieves - helps me sleep at night!! Thankfully my break-in was no where near as bad as yours (forced a window open & hooked the keys from 8ft away without entering our house - quite a skill really!!) but still disturbing and always plays on our minds - so buying an M6 was pretty fucking stupid really!!!

Ha Ha, tone it down and buy an M6!
I had a single stage paint correction and 3 layer ceramic coating done at 5 months old, money well spent, it just cleans up so easy now and gleams with very little effort... even had the ceramic coating on the wheels (inside too) and calipers! They do nice videos of the cars at the detailers.... Last edited by doughboy; 01-12-2017 at 04:33 AM.. |

Hi guys, some great cars on this thread! I'm looking for a SMB M6GC but my god it is difficult to find the right spec at a reasonable price. There's only 30 odd for sale in the whole country. I've owned an E39 M5 and my current car is an E60 M5 and I just cannot stand the amount of low spec M5's that are for sale. Just waiting and waiting and waiting for a nice M6 to come up
