No! I'm suggesting that we're all normal, because we sniffed ditto fluid, traveled in cars without seatbelts or child's seats, and rode our bikes without helmets or shin pads.

Kids these days are practically dressed in bubble wrap, need to be hospitalized for smelling peanut butter from across the lunch room, and don't even know how to ride a bicycle if it isn't in an Xbox game. I'm still baffled about how they even get on my lawn.....

The hospitals used to give new parents a box to take their baby home in, complete with name, date of birth, weight and length. No car seats necessary. My grandmother kept the boxes under her bed and stored pots in them.

We were our parents remote controls for the TV. Although I remember a few more stations; 2,4,5,7,9,11 and 13.

Science class was much later. I got a Chemistry Set for Christmas in about 4th grade and the first thing I did was bust out the little vial of mercury and dumped some out on the tile floor in the bathroom and pushing it around for 10-15 minutes.

On a vacation into the West in our Chrysler Town & Country in about 3rd grade, I can remember my dad seeing gas at 45 cents a gallon somewhere in Wyoming and threatening to turn around and go home. Mom talked him down.

Some how I feel like I’ve turned into that person no one wants to ask how are you. What a screwed up year! I need this to end. Spent 4 hours shoveling yesterday. My back hurts, legs hurt, wrists hurt and I cursed his ass all 4 hours. I have a snow blower I don’t know how to use. I’ll be fine. Almost done with chaos in the house. Freakin pandemic. Everything I order is 12 weeks out. I’m so glad I didn’t need basic furniture. Need to get past Christmas. On a good note, Monday we’ll start gaining some daylight so I’m closer to my evil twin going away when we spring forward in March. I hate that bitch. .
