305/30/20 Pilot Sport 4s on 433 10.5

Hey guys,

referencing this thread... https://www.6post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1357634

Gonna run a 305/30/20 on my rear 433s 10.5. Should I go with stock size up front, or increase to a 275?

Thanks!
Matt

265/35r20 and 305/30r20 are actually the closest in overall diamater, 27.30" and 27.21". 295/30 are 26.97" so they are actually quite a bit shorter than the 265/35 at the front. It isn't really noticable unless you are really looking closely. 275/35 is 27.58" so is quite a bit taller, even compared to 305/30.

I have changed to PS4S 305/30 at the rear as the PZeros made the car virtually undriveable but haven't changed the front yet. I'm 50/50 on 265/35 or 275/35. One thing to note is that the F90 M5 comes with 275/35 on a 20x9.5" wheel which is exactly what we have at the front on M6s. Hence the tyre isn't too stretched or too fat for the rim and BMW are obviously comfortable with 275/35 on a 9.5" wheel. If you are thinking about how the sidewalls will look, the wheel difference front and rear is 25.4mm, and running a 40mm different tyre width will make the front look a bit stretched and the rear look a but fat by comparison.

I kind of went in two different tangents there because I wasn't sure exactly what you were thinking about but that should hopefully answer the question.
