Dash cam advice

Hi guys,
I need an advice of purchasing a dash cam. The cam should have a motion and impact detection. I don’t realy need 10000000k resolutions a normal HD will do. Any recommendations are highly appreciated.

Thank you

I have Viofo 119 v2´s on two of my cars. Pros: Inexpensive, good image quality even in dark, gps, parking mode etc. They are relatively discrete. Cons: In the 6er the rain sensor & camera housing extends quite far down so that the dash cam cannot be installed right next the housing.

Yes good one I was thinking the same for 2019 namely getting one. I came across this:

BlackVue DR900S-2CH

https://www.blackvue.com/dr900s-2ch/

Not the cheapest but looks very slick and I guess it blends very well into the interior of the car. The specs look great too.
Of course there are also other and cheaper models from Blackvue.

Greetings visiting you all from the e92 world as was reading up on your cars.

I have the BlackVue 750 and it is the best out there in my opinion. The new model 900 even better yet.

The main purpose will be the park surveillance therefore I don’t need a good dash cam more a good park cam with motion and shock sensor.

Correct, just a suggestion of course as one needs to check for himself if the price premium to be paid for the latest models is justified in terms of functions/usability.

Great to hear that your feedback is positive - also when reading around forums and general reviews the models from BlackVue seem to be quite recognized.

Agreed. I have 750 as well. Bought it shortly before 900 became available.

www.dashcamtalk.com is a great resource.

I bought the power bank but have not yet installed it. I may end up getting the battery pack as well.

I keep my plugged into the 9v when the car is parked. Is this harmful to the car's battery?

Also I have the Vantrue n2 Pro. I like it because it has a cabin camera so you can film cops when they pull you over haha.

Did any of you guys have a problem with the rear camera placement because of the retractable shade?
Any pic would be useful!

I got blackvue dr900s 2ch with the cellink battery and have been pleased, with the cellink battery it records about 25 hours of non stop footage during parking mode.
