"Insert USB with Correct FSC Code" Error

Took my 2017 640I xdrive gran coupe to the dealer to today for some warranty work (replaced seatbelt railing) and it required reprogramming my car. In doing so , I lost my navigation , which I thought I can just use the same usb stick with the lifetime FSC code to plug in and get it up and running again. Turns out that I lost satellite radio, voice commands, and my navigation.

Doing some research, It appears when the dealer reprogrammed the car they must have screwed up the FSC code stored in the idrive.
Now every time its asking for the “USB with the correct FSC code.”

Dealer told me to stop by on Monday but the reason I scheduled warranty work on the weekends is because is because I can’t stop by during the week. SMH

Is there a way to get these functions back up and running?

Get another flash drive and run the fsc code generator. It will pull out the current fsc code, then you should be good to go, hopefully.

As an update, took the car back to the dealer on Monday. The had attempted to do a recovery but still a no go. Picked up a loaner vehicle today because they plan on ordering a new hard drive. Let's see how long this one takes.... Smh

OK so my dealer ordered the hard drive but they have not provided an eta for the hard drive. At least I have something to drive in the meantime.

Got the car back just before Thanksgiving. Everything works as nor. AL, but my maps are now on 2017 version but I have regional updates coming in regularly.

I'm looking to update the navigation maps, but can't seem to confirm if there is a way to do so and keep my free regional updates valid. Anyone know of this is possible?
