M6 wheel on 640i problem

hello,
i just bought new Rims for my 640i from the dealer and it say its compatible with my car
but i found out there is problem in the rare i think the offset is different than the M6 so the wheel are sticking out and garbing on the finder if i am on any bumps
the tire size 275/35/20
should i change it to something else and it will fix the problem ?
275/30/20
or
285/30/20
some people also told me to go to 265/30/20
or what do you recommend if any one tried it ?
i also try to change the angle and still same problem

old
Style 373 (20x9 ET44)
new
Style 433 (20x10.5 ET19)
https://www.carsaddiction.com/en/com...20x105ET19-F06

for now i can't change it or return it any more and still BMW dealer say it will fit my car as the system said

even in ecstuning it say it fit
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...l/36118047256/

my car is stock as well no mod on it
what is your recommendation ?
dose finder rooling works with 6sr ?

here is a veido when i was stopped on a bump only one side to see where is it touching

your backspacing (offset) is not correct. The offset on the M and non M are different

The M6 wheels have a unique backspacing that only fits the M6. If you want those wheels for your car the M5 wheels have the correct backspacing.

As mentioned in your thread over on BimFest 13 days ago...the wheel offset for the rear M6 wheel doesn't work on the F06/f12/f13...it will push the wheel/tire out too far. There is nothing you can do with the wheel or tire that will remedy this...the 19mm offset is not correct for your rear axle. You need a wheel with a greater wheel offset that is between 28mm-44mm.

You could sell your wheels and then buy 4 "front" wheels...or look into the wheels from an f90 M5 (which has a rear wheel offset like around 28-35mm).

Or ask around if rolling your rear fender would work and let you get away with keeping the wheels you have that have a 19mm offset.

Good luck.

You should have went with a square set of 433 wheels...using the front wheels on all four corners. The front 433 wheel is closer in spec to the 373 staggered wheel sizes.

Using an online wheel calculator (www.willtheyfit.com) it reveals that using the 433 rear wheel and a 275/30/20 tire...The outer rim will poke out 44.1mm more than before. The additional 1.5" wheel width and 19mm offset vs the 44mm offset...pushes the rear wheel out too far.

But if you were to mount the front 433 wheel using a 275/30/20 tire...the rear rim will only poke out 19.4mm more than before.

Style 433 front wheel specs are:
  • 9.5" x 20" w/31mm offset

As QSilver and others have said, you can't make them work. Your only possible option is to "roll" the wheel arches. Personally I would never bend the sheet metal on my car just to try and fix a mistake of buying the wrong wheels. If it were me, I'd just admit I made a mistake, laugh at myself, go get drunk, then sell those wheels and get M5 wheels or something else.

BTW, I think/hope the rear fenders are either steel or aluminum. The chart from the TIS shows that the rear fenders are #4 in the illustration but does not LIST what material they are made of (see chart below).

If they are made of a composite (plastic) like the front fenders or the trunk/boot lid...you won't be able to "roll" the rear fenders.

At least on the F12 ands F13 they are steel. I wonder how it would be to roll aluminum. It behaves differently than steel and doesn't really like to be deformed. It's more difficult to do paintless dent repair on aluminum.

That is weird that a dealer and ECS say they fit. I'm sure the quarter panels are steel, but just put a small magnet on there to be sure.
