Can't Fill Gas All The Way Up
Still a newbie here, and I've only filled up with gas twice in the week and half since acquiring my 2014 640i convertible, but both times I can only get filled up to about 7/8 full, and that's after 2 "clicks" at the pump (didn't want to try to fill past the second click).
has anyone else experienced this? any fix? my first thought is a venting issue |

At some filling stations i have problems with the pump kicking off long before the tank is full. If you put it on slow fill instead of max speed flow, you should only click off when you reach "full". Do not keep clicking and overfill the tank because that messes up the tank breathing system, sending liquid to the venting system.

It's good practise to never click past the first fuel shutoff as well, you are forcing fuel in to the tank leaving no space for air which will put excess wear on the fuel pump.

Ditto the suggestions above...also try not inserting the nozzle all the way in...and like mentioned above...don't set it at full throttle...use a slower fill setting on the fuel pump.
