2013 M6 (F12) exhaust suggestions

Hey everyone,
Just picked this up w/ 41,000 miles all stock

I was thinking just changing down pipes and tune but leaving the exhaust. One reason is exhaust is crazy expensive for this car.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Congrats! Im picking up a black 2016 M6 convertible week of 4th of July, 31,000 miles. I plan to do the BMS cold air intakes immediately. It already has the Dinan free flow exhaust on it, I believe thats just axle back, so I may do a full catback. I’m trading in a Durango SRT w Borla Attack. I like to hear the big V8.

That looks sweet. I’m hoping that the vrsf cat less down pipe fits the stock exhaust. Car sounds great now but with the added DP, cold air intake and burger piggy back it should be loud enough. Supposedly that will add 125hp.
After that I need the rear wing and diffuser

Depends how loud you want it. You can do catless DP and it will change the exhaust sound quite a bit and you’ll hear the turbos more. You can also do a cheaper muffler delete like a Soul and save yourself the money of doing a full exhaust but make it much louder.
I did catless DP with the full Meisterschaft and I love it.

Crazy so many ppl mod these, I find the car plenty fast. I got a ticket the first day I owned it lol. It's def a highway rocket. I'm going to put a good dry weather street tire when the time comes and change out the pads.

I have modded everything I have ever had. My Durango SRT is pushing 120 hp more than stock.

Question, buying this used I am being offered an aftermarket warrant from Assurant, its 3900 for 5 years. Thoughts?

The 2016 manual M6 I am buying has 32,000 on it. Which means to me it wasnt driven much in 8years on the road. I usually buy my rides used but only 1-3 years under 15k.

Dyno before mods and let's hear how much you ACTUALLY get with the mods. These cars are traction limited as they are. The ECM does not even give you full power in first and second gear and there are not too many "Mexico roads" to go over the "155" limiter. Let sanity prevail.

Mexico roads? Mexico roads are a shit show. Now, southern Arizona had some great stuff road wise. I had a modded mustang cobra and a modded m3 when I lived in Tucson in the late 90’s. Lots of fun. Georgia and North Carolina had some as well in the mid 90’s.

I have been away from bmw since 2007, modding dodge’s and GMC’s. I don't know why people always have to hate, question your dyno’d hp gains and type in caps because someone tries to improve their ride, home, life etc instead of just sitting back and eating cake as they choose to do. When you accept whats given by manufacturers, the government, your mommy, you don't know what else is possible.

"Traction Limited" is a good way to say it.. that's the only reason I've left mine stock.. even here in Vegas in 115 deg full sun today, I can't find a street tire to stick in 1st or 2nd gear... anything close to half trottle and I'm fishtailing from a stop. I was thinking of going to Pirelli Trofeo R at least on the rear for traction.. I found some improvement in the Michelin 4S tires, when they were relatively new and I went to a 305/30-20 in the rear, 265/35 20 in the front. The 305s, in my opinion look a lot better for the rear on this car too.. no rubbing, perfectly fit the rim too.
