The blacked out look will go the way of the stupid theme built "choppers" like those from orange county and such. Nothing but show off, look at me poser creations. The blacked out look started in the pickup and jeep world. It was the cheaper option for those that would likely damage wheels doing what jeeps and off road trucks ar built for.

We look to have the same spec, which is pretty unique and stunning. Allow me to post this to make your decision tougher for today

Fronts: 21x9.5 on Michelin PS4S 265/30/21 Rear: 21x11 on Michelin PS4S 305/25/21 If I recall the Gran Coupes have a bit narrower rear so may have been able to go 21x11.5 but I went with this set-up as I know it would work for the tire sizes. Front offsets are very aggressive so make sure you have protection on the rockers (+17 if I recall, could maybe cut back like 3mm if worried), rear if I recall is +20 and on the rear I may have been able to go 2-3mm more aggressive. I'm not sure the Carbon Ceramics affect things but I have the CCB's for reference. Last edited by XSTAR_007; 03-25-2020 at 09:51 AM.. |

Looks really good !! Is your car lowered ?? I’m on the fence of doing custom 20s or 21s , I live in NY I’m going to do a custom forged 2 piece wheels ,how good do the 21s absorb pot holes lol ?? Here is the fitment recommended by the manufacturer
F06 F12 F13 M6 21x10 ET25 Deep 275/30/21 21x12 ET20 Super Deep 325/25/21 Depending on tires used the fronts might have to use 265 , pirelli 275 is narrower than Michelin’s 265 or close to the same It seems 21s have more choice of tire brands compared to 20s in a 12”wheel , 20” x 12 I only have a choice of Cup2s or Toyo R888 , No 4s For the rears. So that would be 20x10 ET20 and 20x12 ET15 , |

I'm running 20x10" 25mm 285/35r20 and 20x11.5" 18mm 325/30r20 with no problems apart from a tiny bit of rubbing on the front wheel linings when on weird angles going up driveways or similar. When I ran 20x10" 34mm at the front with 295/30r20 I didn't have that problem so I think the issue is the height of the tyre.

I’m 0.8” drop all around. My roads are pretty good so if roads are bad I would lean 20” if you don’t want to worry about the ride quality depending how much you drive it or where you go. Hard call as OEM is 20” so you really need to find the right wheel so it looks big. A good monoblock or 2pc where the spokes extend to the lip.

The wheels will be manufactured on ADV.1 and will be delivered to Germany at the end of April. This should be the first F06 with such wheel sizes. |

I've seen plenty of people running 325/25r21 tyres on 21x12 wheels.

Just do a search for 325/25r21 or 325/25/21 on the forum. Here are the first few I found

I run the stock 343m through winter with PS4S tyres so I'm definitely keeping them.
Also the shipping costs from New Zealand to Idaho might be slightly crazy
