F12 640D Convertible Folding mirrors

Hi, Tried to code my 2016 F12 convertible mirrors to fold when locked using Bimmercode but get a warning that not available with convertible? this i do not understand why because when folding roof there is nothing to get in the way of the mirrors, and you can fold them with the button on the drivers armrest?

Did you mean to type "BIMMERCODE"? I ask because the Bimmerlink app is a diagnostic app...you can't code the side mirrors to fold on any BMW using Bimmerlink.

I do not have a good reason why the 'verts can't be coded to have folding mirrors for convenience closing or just be able to fold using regular lock/unlock.

But I would assume it has something to do with the soft top. Since you can open/close the soft top using the convenience close feature...the command on the communication bus must not be able to bypass the roof...so every time you wanted to fold the mirrors...the roof would start to either open or close, too.

Us hard top owners kind of have a similar issue...regardless of coding a long delay...the sunroof shade will start to close when using the convenience close feature. So if our sunroof panels open/close when using the convenience close feature...they obviously can't stop the soft top roofs from doing the same.

I looked to do this with Bimmercode on my 2014 650i convertible and it clearly states it's not available on a convertible for some reason.
