2017 vs 2018 650 GC
Hey guys
Im looking into a 2017 or 2018 6 series GC. I tried to search but can’t see if there were any changes at all? I know the exterior hasn’t changed at all but any updates to the Navigation or anything else I should know about ? Thanks in advance

Luckily BMW made minimum changes to the F12/13/06. 17,18,19 should all have the same navigation. Welcome back btw, I recall you use to own a M3 waaay back a long time ago, I just sold my M3 this year.
Here's a summary: 2013: -Launch year -CIC idrive 2014: -First generation NBT 2015: -NBT updated to touch controller and larger screen. -LCI headlight refresh http://www.6post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1067822 2016-17: -NBT interface update 2018: -Only Gran Coupe and Convertible models offered 2019: -final model year -Only Gran Coupe offered

Yeah, 2015 was a big year for the model. If you're in the market for a used one, 2015+ is what I'd buy.

2016 debuted a new integrated aux turn indicator light built into the side view mirrors (see #8 in diagram below):
The 2013 models had a choice of two types of headlights...they came standard with the (round halo) adaptive HID headlights...but adaptive LED lights and LED fog lights were optional and looked like the ones in the pic below...the pre LCI LED headlight halos go completely around each headlight. {adaptive Xenon Headlights} {adaptive LED Headlights}

^I'm pretty sure the integrated turn signals were in 2015 pre the LCI changes. Read this: http://www.6post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1067822

I think we may be both correct in that it appears that the side mirrors with integrated turn signals seems to appear around the end of Feb/2015 & start of March/2015 build dates (at least for the F06 GC).
Does anyone know when the SOP (start of production) for the 2016 model year began? Was it an early 2015 start of production? And if any 2015 owners out there are reading this...you can solve the mystery by chiming in/speaking up to help bring clarification. Give your build date and model nomenclature and reveal if you have the integrated turn indicators or not. For example...if you decode this 2015 650ix VIN (D761873) and pull up the diagram for the exterior mirrors...this is what you get: (it has a 2/27/15 build date) But when you decode this 2016 650ix VIN (D977058) and pull up the diagram for the exterior mirror...this is what you get: ( it has a 6/22/15 build date): It can be confusing when start and end of production (in the US market) doesn't sync with what is usually a September roll out of the new model. It appears that the new mirrors debuted in 2015 (late Feb/early March) but appeared on what was "officially" (in the US market) a 2016 model which can be identified by a G as the 10th VIN digit instead of an F. TIDBIT: 10th VIN digit in the US market represents the official model year regardless of build date:

Hey, I've dealt heavily with local dealers around the Greater Toronto Area when it comes to the 6, there is absolutely no difference from 18 to 19.
