M5 muffler on 640i?

Hi, wondering if stock M5 mufflers will fit on a 640i, I'd assume you'd remove the diffuser for install and when it's done, you fit a diffuser on with space for the quad tips. If anyone has experience with something similar, any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I put f10 m5 mufflers on mine. Hangers aren't a direct fit but a muffler shop can install it easily. I'd install a quad tip diffuser first so when the mufflers are installed, they can align the tips properly with the cutouts in the diffuser.

Awesome to hear! I picked up a pair from an M5 owner down here in SoCal, I'm assuming a shop would need to weld it on? Also do you run it with valves open? I wanted something to make the car louder but also not drone. Thanks for your help!

Yup, will need to be welded in with a reducer on the inlet side. I wired my vales open and there is a bit of drone at a certain rpm range but goes away with sport mode or with the transmission in sport.
