Thanks Derek! I loved that car. Bought her new and kept her for 14 years. The Imola red was so striking. Got compliments all of the time. And the last time from a group of valet boys at a fancy restaurant in LA when I dropped it off about three years ago. I thought to myself that I would never see the car again. After dinner I gave a different valet my ticket. The car was gone! Talk about E46 fanatics!
The highway patrol found the car after about a week. They pulled over a guy who was literally driving it like he stole it (90+ And slaloming) on the S 405 down in your neck of the woods. But I didn’t want it anymore after that. Put her on Car Gurus after a very complete detail and she sold within 2 hours! |

I did mine at 40k and the gap variances were rediculous. Plugs are about $30 each and it takes about an hour to do. I will be doing my plugs every 30k or less just to be safe.

Sparks are $13 each at fcpeuro. You can buy 6 once, and then replace them for free every 10,000mi.
I did change sparks in 435 n55 by myself for the first time in life, never had sparks in hands before. So, I would think more than twice about paying $500 for sparks replacement))) |
