I'm overseas right now and living in 4 man rooms. I'm second highest rank in my room, and theres two younger Joes that just moved in. I was droppin rotten egg bombs the other night and the one roomie that outranks me comes up to the rest of us "jokingly" sayin how bad the smell was and if your ass is on fire go take something so the rest of us don't have to smell it. Normally I would claim my own, but one of the younger guys immediately says "oh that might have been me. I don't remember but it probably was." He then listened to a good 10 minute rant about how bad the smell was.

I kept quiet. He is young and got to move into nicer NCO barracks which is out of the norm. That's what he gets for claiming something that he wasn't even sure was him lol
