M6 Carbon fiber mirror covers
Hi everyone,
Just looking for options here (not looking for stick on, but actual replacement covers) and I hope someone with experience in this area can shed some light. Carbon fiber mirror caps are a very pricey option for OE, is there less pricey option with similar quality? I’ve looked through prior posts but didn’t find anything recent. Also, do M5 covers work on M6? They are the same mirror in shape but not sure if the placement of the clips is the same. Thank you. |

I saw some the other day that were about $600. I've got other things I want to buy before I spend that much.

I don't think so. BMW sells them under completely different codes.
Attached below are examples for the M6 codes :

Correct. That’s why I’m wondering. A lot of aftermarket companies sells them as the same. When I compared the two OE covers, based on pictures I found online, it all appears to be the same even the placement of clips. Strange they would use different PN.
