Digital cluster setup

Hi guys, any ideas how to get rid of this speed limit sign here? It is also visible on HUD so I see no reason to duplicate it on cluster. Also it will be visually more symmetrical and clean without sign

What car model is is that? Not one on this forum. On my car, you can go in the settings menu in iDrive and check off what you want displayed in the cluster.

I don't know if you can do it with the cluster you pictured and that version of iDrive...but on the 6wa/6wb clusters used on the f06/f12/f13 6 series...you "may" be able to turn it off if you go into iDrive.

I know that you can select certain features to appear in the HUD...and I think you can also select things to appear if you go into INFO DISPLAY >>>SPEED LIMIT INFO settings in iDrive. Check there to see if you can turn it off/on.

But don't be surprised if you can turn it off in iDrive...it may also turn it off in the HUD. But I don't know if this is true or not...but just don't be surprised if it turns it off for both.

In the 6wa you just press the computer option button on the end of the indicator stalk.

Neither of it is helping. Seems like no way to get rid of it.

I went online and downloaded a 6GT owners manual to see what is mentioned about this feature. See the info below...which also shows where to find Speed Limit info in iDrive for your version. Perhaps it is selectable (?)...but the manual also says that it may be permanently displayed. (???)
