Nice wheels.
One design surprise. But I still stand by my statements that BMW M will probably do more to the car to distinguish it from the M6.

The spy shots give me less hope, but the factory photos still don't show the rear (mainly the trunk which the gran coupe has the brake light above the greenhouse, and the front fascia.)

I love it! Yes power bump! The wheels are pure sex, but they look like audi wheels

We are not 4 door people but since the release of this GC (still don't understand the Coupe part of the name??) but.............. this design is growing on me. Not that we would buy one. Here in Vancouver it was $135 G's for the coupe but we plan on pricing the M6 next spring.

As for the photo "leaks"..... definitely agree by BMW themselves!!

The wheels look great IMO but it appears all BMW wheels are a bear to clean. I also am a car detailer and agree it's all in the cleaning tools and method, very easy to learn with all the DIY videos!!

A spoile on the trunk??? would be nice.

Changes to the M6 Gran Coupe are not just pre-determined by adding "more power" and cosmetics.

If you look at the actual 6er Gran coupe the reviews state the same opinion that the car is dynamically proficient for a BMW.

Which brings us back to the M philosophy that the base car must be absolutely perfect in order to become an M.

And of course that level of perfection is built upon by completely distinguishing the cars from their BMW bretheren and the Gran Coupe is no different. The engineers at M have built upon the cars dynamics and chassis settings to make the M6 Gran Coupe optimized for its position as the BMW M flagship not just in status but overall ability.

It is also the first four door BMW to feature a CFRP roof.

Looks like a great place where the m6 GC is, the place where the prototypes are being prepared in. I really like the wheels.

If you pay the $110,000 for an M6GC i doubt you're the one cleaning the wheels lol
No one, is going to clean your car better than yourself lol
I see you haven't found the right detailer in your area

I see you too have not found the right detailer in your area. I trust my detailer and honestly he has tools I dont have as well as time that I dont have... And my car isn't even close to 81k...

But i do wash my car myself a lot its just that sometimes when i want a super detailed job done... I go to the detailer. I'd probably damage my car using one of those buffer things. I'm not trained in detailing...

So learn then.

I used to not know how to use a buffer, then I got one and asked the detailing shops what they use, etc, and watched how-to's, and now I know.

I do all of my own detailing. I know I only have a 328, but nobody loves my car as much as myself, so I keep it in tip-top shape.

Also, the M6GC will be north of 140k in Canada, which in a few years I'll be able to afford, so if I do buy one, I would clean my own wheels.
So you guys just don't run your cars through the carwash when they get too dirty to look at anymore? My previous car had a $110k price tag and I only hand-washed it once and it never saw a detailer.

BTW, did I get all of the quotes right?

Looking at these wheels from different angles, they appear to be bi-color M434 to me.

Nope, you forgot mine!! Cars are a passion to some people and I have been a restorer/detailer all my life. Others may garden, fish or play golf (which I also do) so I fail to see your point. We're just doing what we enjoy and I don't see any harm in that............. crank up the tunes, a couple of beers and shine up that puppy!! It all boils down to choice, eh!

Sorry about the oversight. No issues with people who keep their cars pristine and looking good all of the time. For me, I'm not sure there's a dollar amount that would cause me not to drive my car through a carwash once a month... and I'm not talking touch-free either. About every three months, I'll take it to a full-service car wash so that inside of the windows get cleaned.

I was wondering when that would be confirmed, no other reason to hide the roof if it wasn't carbon fiber.

Now there's the issue with me. Windows are a PITA. I have used every product in the market and still get the odd streak?? There is a noticeable difference when they are clean!! One has to be almost double jointed to do the best job!

+1

On top of that, the M5 has been quite disappointing in handling and steering feel. No wonder is losing all the comparos.

They're similar, but I don't think these are 434Ms.

Win for BMW and I wouldn't worry too much about the M5 it has its following and this car is going to be priced at 20-25% more so its a big jump for those that want to make it!

Maybe looks. To me the 6 series in general isn't that great looking.
