UPDATE WITH RENDER: We've supplemented the latest revealing M6 coupe spy photos with our resident artist's (Alpine325ci) render based on the latest pics.

We have just spied a 2012 M6 coupe bearing its front and rear end designs clearly on the streets of Munich for the first time. We recently had a brief look at the M6's bumper styling when it first appeared uncovered while testing (and crashing unfortunately) on the Nurburgring.

We can now tell clearly that the M6 coupe does not simply adopt the F10 M5's front lower bumper design whole cloth, but has its own sleek take on it. The biggest difference are the side air ducts, which angle up sharply on the M6. The fins/splitters which sit underneath the side air ducts are also longer on the M6 compared to the M5. Overall it blends the F10 M5's and E85 Z4 M Roadster/Coupe's bumper styling, with a new twist of its own.

The M6 coupe's rear diffuser also features some aggressive styling, with prominent fins in the rear as well. The M6 coupe may also be featuring a carbon fiber roof, as the roof's camouflage still remains. This particular model is also testing ceramic brakes, which will be an option, just as on the F10 M5.

The 2012 M6 coupe will share the same 560hp 4.4L Twin Scroll Twin Turbo V8 from the F10 M5 (internally dubbed the S63Tu engine).

There's no final word on debut and availability of the BMW F13 M6 but we expect BMW to officially unveil the M6 in late 2011/early 2012 with a market launch in 2012.

Be sure to follow all information on the BMW M6 coupe and convertible @ http://www.bimmerpost.com/m6/f12m6/

Those wheels look great! This will be an awesome gt car. Looks like the rear fenders will have quite the flares. Also a nice integrated deck lid spoiler I'd assume.

If you are lucky and a resident of the Los Angeles area.
You could see the M6 undergoing it's film and photography shoot , this week.

Looks good but I still hate that the hood doesnt go all the way forward to the kidney grills leaving that awkward line/gap over the headlights

That's a good looking car, probably the best proportioned BMW in years. Hopefully it'll depreciate as badly as the last one and I can get one.

This is going to be a monster!

Sidenote: The sidewalls on those tires look really worn- some on the edge testing?

Nice to see the E92 M3 set the precedent for styling, but at the same time wish there was a little uniqueness between the M models.

I wish they carried the front bumper from the new M5. The angle of the air ducts look like a smiley face and reminds me of the Gellardo bumper.

But I can't wait to see the finished product
