Anyone using an iPhone over USB for music?
Hey all, so I use my iPhone connected to the USB in the armrest to stream podcasts (not over Bluetooth). Specifically, I listen to the Tiesto podcast (electronic music) that has "chapters" for each song.
I just updated to iOS 11.2.2 and noticed that my nav screen no longer displays the chapter title (song name) beneath the podcast art, it just lists the episode number. I just got my car back from service and wasn't sure if the dealer may have updated some software (doubt it) or if the new iOS version is to blame. Would anyone that's still running iOS 11.2 or 11.2.1 be able to hook their phone up to the USB and check this out? Downloading one of the Tiesto Club Life podcasts would get you to see what I'm seeing. Each chapter has it's own album image which doesn't change on the nav screen when changing chapters, so the song title being listed beneath was nice...until now. |

Yeah, just updated. Haven't hooked it up to the car yet, but the changes made to the podcast app on the phone look the same as 11.2.2 (as in no indication at all of what chapter is playing). The music podcast I listen to does say the song name in the podcast art, but the art on my iDrive screen doesn't update for every chapter so I'm just totally clueless to what chapter I'm seeking.
I may roll-back to 11.2 or 11.2.1 since I'm pretty anal about this working the way I'm used to as of 2 days ago |

If the phone was never added - no need to delete as it is not there. |
