BMW Connected Drive
Hey guys and gals, I have research these forums heaps but can't seem to find my answer. I have a M6 GC 2013, BMW have told me that I can't/don't have connected drive.
Although I do have it appearing in my menu, seems strange?!? Is there a physical way or something I can do to confirm absolute that this vehicle has the capability etc? Cheers Chris |

See if you can find a service availability matrix for AU. The US one is here:
https://www.bmwusa.com/content/dam/b...lityMatrix.pdf The 2013 F06 M6 had connected drive in the US, but maybe BMW did not enable it in all markets that year. |

Correct, for 2013/14 cars, only limited features are available for purchase. IIRC, on my 2014, I had to purchase for traffic information and ability to send addresses from Connected Drive App to car, and control some limited feature of the car from the app when car is parked (honk horn, lock, vent)
There's a US availability matrix and you can login to Connected Drive online to buy the services a la cart. |
