For me, it's extremely disappointing that the 2NK M Carbon Ceramic brakes are NOT available with the gorgeous standard Doublespoke Style 433 M wheels.

This is most likely a signal that the Manual will be added to the option sheet of the coupe and convertible for the 2014 model year.

I don't know how this can be considering the press car has both 2NK and 2PS equipment. The requisite for ordering 2NK with 2NZ wheels might be for the F12/13 since they come with the 19" 344M wheels which will NOT clear the CCB's.

Sorry to rain on the parade but with more than 2 tons and so loaded with electronic, I don't think the M6 is an enthusiast car anymore. It is a fantastic car, no question asked but it is not longer connected as M-cars used to be (a proper sport car with 4 doors) as an enthusiast , I would not look at that car if I had $130,000 to burn

Also, 9250 for CCB's with sliding single piston binders in the rear. You would think BMW would throw in a fixed 2-pot at least for close to 10K.
Same BMW shitty brakes. AMG CLS63 please...

Its coming - March production for Coupe and Cab. Its a 7 speed manual unlike the 6 speed that comes in the M5.

Listening? Right now anyone that wants a high performance manual transmission sedan only has one choice and its BMW. Even if they only sell 15%, thats 15% they would not have had before. I also think that its similar to the manual 7MT in the 991 hence it uses the same "linkages" as DCT so not a lot of remapping but being a MT driver I am very curious to see how this does in the market place.

Correct - BMW Sales Manager also confirmed.

Let me finally add that as a MT driver this is massive news. This is a huge risk and investment by BMW. Everyone is turning their backs on MT and they make this type of move - big statement of their engineering prowess! Offering multiple transmission options in what can be seen as maybe 2% of all cars sold at BMW (thats what ///M makes up) is remarkable. Respect and Kudos to BMW and ///M.

I hope to make this my 4th manual ///M. Guys the fact that people that have $100k + have this option is incredible. You can't get a manual from the competition any more. What a great option to give the buyer.

Kuddos to BMW for bringing the manual to the M6 GC, what a gorgeous car! Had my eyes on the F10 M5 manual but this one takes the beauty prize for sure. Would take it over the RS 7 (now available in the US) and CLS 63 any day of the week, and over the ugly Quasimodo-styled Panamera twice on Sunday!

Anyone know if this will be the re-worked 7-spd manual as rumored?

Also, what is the weight relative to the M5, hoping it is a bit less given the CF roof but may be a wet dream....

Ya everyone scream for a manual and then end up buying the DCT.

$9,250.00 for ceramic brakes?? I'm guessing the will be covered under maintenance.

If my 18 year experience with BMW is as good as I think, I'll bet my car with some Motul 600 brake fluid will crush the ceramics after a few laps in a track. Not worth it unless you get your money for nothing.

Gotta agree. The M line up is slowly transforming into a fashion statement rather than retaining its historical function as a race division(not saying that's a bad thing). $130k would put it in competition of some Aston Martins, Maserati, Porsches, and AMGs. I don't believe the M6 would be the top choice for many as it does not really excel in sports or luxury.

This car specified to the same as my M5 yields an MSRP of $132,375, vs. an MSRP of $112,750 on my M5.
