racing license? track-users, help.
In order to run at a track, you need to have a competition racing license recognized by SCCA.
I assume you obtain the license through a course. I don't think its the driving schools that get you that license. Someone help me? Im not into serious racing or anything, I just want to run at the track once in a while and was wondering what process I have to go through. Thanks.

There are a lot of club racing programs that don't require a special license but a yearly membership fee along with track fees.
I don't know about Oregon but I'm sure others will chime in. I just wanted to give you some hope! |

Driving on the track is different from racing. You don't need a racing license if you are not going to actually race on the track. You can drive on the track in events like track days, DEs, driving schools...etc.
