100% functional. Only selling because I prefer the oem idrive. I don't have any pictures of the actual box and wires but I had a shop do the install using the instructions provided by bimmertech. If a buyer is interested I'll have it uninstalled and shipped same day. [IMG][/IMG]

Not to crap on your thread but you can get the boxes new now for $300ish. In fact there is a long thread in the forum about them.

From what I have seen these screens typically leave access to the iDrive also... Is that an option that must be ordered?

Not sure what you mean but I can switch bsck and forth from idrive to CarPlay whenever I want. Just a siimple long press of the menu button

Yeah and there's a guy selling a kit for 700 (more than retail) on the f8x forums. It's the same device. Why don't you go crap on his post instead 👍🏽 Anyway. Price is negotiable but buyer will have to pay shipping if price is lowered.

I'll just chime in to say I bought one of these and its pretty darn good, slick interface and great to add waze etc through CarPlay.
