Air Gauge?

Can anyone recommend an excellent air gauge? Also, should I believe what my TPS says?

This is the best one I have ever used. Quick accurate very easy to read. My TPMS seems to be accurate. The temperature can also be shown with coding which will help tell you if you are having an issue.

Pressure isn't usually a super big deal until you hit a pothole with low pressure or you are tracking it.

I keep a compressor kit in the trunk, which also has a gauge on it. No need to whip it out unless I'm inflating the tires as the built-in TPMS appears perfectly accurate (agrees with the gauge). If you're only checking the pressures, I'd just use the TPMS on-screen.

That said, I've made it a practice to check it more frequently as the low pressure indicator only comes on once you're pretty darn low (around 27PSI if I'm recalling correctly).

Just a cheap auto parts store pressure gauge is fine. I use the slime brand. it tends to read a bit higher than the TPMS.

Thanks, Ezmass. Which compressor did you get? I’m just a couple weeks away from replacing my Runflats with the A/S 3+ tires, Btw. I’ve been running 38 - 39 front and 40-41 rear with the runflats, but am thinking that I’ll stick with BMW’s recommendations once I switch to the Michelin tires (I’m on 20” rims). Your thoughts?
