Grilled meat is my favorite. I've finally bought new grill and want to give it a try this weekend. Wanna make grilled steak with vegs and bbq sauce. My fav recipe.

Also I found info about best covers for grill on https://cozyhousetoday.com/best-cove...er-spirit-e310/ to make sure that nothing happens to it while it is not in use. Useful stuff.

I'm a foreigner but am moving into my first home in Texas shortly, and I'd like to do some nice smoked brisket Texas style. I've looked at Traeger grills - seem pretty solid being able to feed themselves overnight, but is that a good way to go for an amateur/first timer?

Lol they probably are? I tried both ways and I'm not sure which way they're suppose to face

There are little square nubs on the corners that should be facing down that the grate sits on. Some racks have them on both sides though, the reason is that the flat side offers more searing than the edged side. In the long run, still your choice how to use your grill,

Hence why they always have all those spices on them

Just messin, there are times when a thinly sliced slab of meat, in plenty of spices, and grilled to dryness has a sort of strange appeal I can't resist. Hmm, dinner thoughts for tonight

agree! sometimes after the meats been marinated or rubbed they look good as is. but i'm not a freakin' animal lol but if I was I would tear that shit up!

I forgot to take a grill pic with the smoked salmon I did but the pork turned out great!

I did a half salmon on a cedar plank and it came out pretty good. might have to do that again after seeing yours lol
