Eisenmann Race Exhaust Owners

Looking in getting in. Does this come with a working valve actuator? Meaning it uses the existing vacuum tubes for the flaps.

Is there a big difference in sound when two vs all 4 valves open?

Thanks

The E-sport exhaust has valves if that's what you're looking for.

I'm about to install an Eisenmann Sport with valves on my M6, no resonators, remote valve control, BMS intake. Should sound good with the valves open, and no drone when closed.

Please, pretty please post some nice quality videos (inside and out) highway speeds + strong pulls.

I am looking at the exact same set-up.

Will do! I should have the exhaust by the end of this week, installed next week most likely. Resonators are already off and the exhaust meister valve control is installed and working off the homelink buttons, it's so cool!

I had just a few days w my E-sport, no resonators in the midpipe and flaps open. It sounds just a little louder than the CP exhaust I had with some drone in the 1800-1900 rpm zone. I'm not sure if the resonators would make a difference. I am putting catless DPs on in the next day or so and can post videos then. I had the shop wire my valves open.

Catless DP's will definitely make a difference in the sound for you. The CP is an Akrapovic made for BMW isn't it? I would think the E-sport exhaust might be a little louder but change the tone more than it would make it much louder because the Akra is already more free flowing. My car is going from non-CP exhaust with resonators, to no resonators and the E-sport so it should make a nice sounding difference.

Any issues with drone and emission? Looking to just get the axel back so I don't touch the cats.

Idk if it's just me that's a little more sensitive to drone, but I noticed drone even on my stock CP setup w flaps always open. The CP exhaust may be made by Akra, but the M-Perf exhaust made by Akra is an equal comparison to the Akra Ti exhaust. Basically, non-CP < CP < Akra Ti/MPE < E-sport < E-race.

The drone isn't any more pronounced w the E-sport. The overall exhaust sound is louder, but it wasn't like "whoa this is amazing" when I put it on. Versus a non-CP car, I think you will be pleased going to this setup.

I knew I was getting catless DPs, so I didn't want to go w the E-race. I was afraid it might be too loud/ricey.

Gotcha! I thought the CP exhaust and the M-performance exhaust were the same thing. I heard a catless M5, no resonators, with E-Race and it sounded way too raspy. I did not like the tone at all, it was loud and it had a lot of drone, def. not for me.

Hi, I am looking at the same set up, just ordered the E-Sport....did you go res delete on your OEM or got Eisenmann center pipes non res...? How do you like the sound? I cant decide just doing a res delete OEM or get E-center pipes non res....

It makes no difference either way. A decent muffler shop can cut off the resonators and weld in a pair of stainless pipes, the section is straight so it should be easy and cheap as there are no complicated bends or anything. The Eisenmann center section will make no difference in sound or performance compared to what I just explained so it is on you to spend your money how you like.

I have the E-Race exhaust, with a custom X-Pipe and res delete with AA Catless DP's. In sport plus its loud and crackles but in efficient its nice and quite.

Wrong....Eisenmann can deliver the same valve system as on the Sport, but only on requests.....I am about to place an order for the Race with this valve system....This would be the best of 2 worlds...

Great, thanks....but just got a feedback from Eisenmann that you can actually get the Race with the same valve system as on the Race on request....

Nice! But that has nothing to do with resonators.
