So basicly you add ethanol only 4 galons to full tank on 91 octane ?
Any 100-200 km/h numbers ? Is there any improvment ?

To all these people in California putting a few gallons of e85 in their M6 and feeling a difference, is this on the same map or are you switching to a 93 octane map? Will it be bad to put a couple gallons of e85 on a stock tune no mods?

Not sure this you (or your car) would benefit from it, but at least my owners manual says that you can fill up with fuel with less than 10% ethanol. I believe E85 is 15%, but if itís only a small portion of the whole tank should be ok...

No problems for me. I ran 20% ethanol in my M5 for 2 years without an issue. I am now doing the same in my M6. There is significant performance difference for both cars not running E20. Both cars have Mission stage 1 tune. I have never gone beyond 20%.

I opened this thread 2 years ago , and im still confused 🤔
Yesterday i had my hands on Vp ms109 fuel , i throw 5 gallons in half tank on my m6 f13 stage 1+ hcp , the car behave very weird , it felt heavier and my gps data were slower , with 93 octane my 100-200 km/h was 6.2 seconds (62-124 mph ) , with the Vp ms109 my car now is doing 100-200km/h in 7.4 seconds .
Anybody can explain to me whats wrong here ??🤔

Could be a number of reasons...did you speak with your tuner prior to running the fuel? The tune SHOULD adapt to the added fuel/timing but its always good to double check. Spark plugs - have you changed/gaped them since adding a tune? Misfiring maybe? Weather conditions...Were your test ran with similar DA's?

I personally run boostane on occasion. Going from 93 to 98oct yielded a gain of .30 secs on my 60-130 in similar conditions. Could likely drop another .3/4 secs if running on 100.

Yes i contacted him , my tune is from HCP , recentlly its very difficult to contact him, dont know why .
I usually run 98oct for my tune and the car made 100-200 km/h in 6.2 best time .
Now its defferent , my best time is 7.2 s' .....
I didnt check the spark plugs or changed them , is there any way to know if my spark plugs are bad , becuase other than that the car drives fine ....
