Weird brake sensor problem

So I have a 2013 F06, I serviced it and changed discs and pads a few months ago. A few weeks after that, the brake wear warning went off (I didn't change sensors at service, tbh I didn't even know it had them).
Today I finally got round to sorting the problem, the front left sensor wire was broken, easy fix. I cleared the "renew pads" on the dashboard and moved to the rears. No sensors. And it won't let me reset the rear wear warning. When I say no sensors, I mean no sensors, no wire, nada.
Help?

Ok, so if you changed discs and pads, how could you not know you had sensors? The sensor clips on to the inboard pad. You couldn't change pads without unclipping and reinstalling the sensor. Keep in mind that only one side has a sensor per axle, and they are on diagonal corners. So, for example, if your left front had the sensor, then your right rear will have one.

I wonder if the OP is looking for the sensor on the left rear (assuming its in the same place as the front). But as you explained, the brake sensors are on different sides depending on which axle.
  • Front axle - left side
  • Rear axle - right side
