F13 M6 Tire size help
F13 M6 currently running Ps4s 265 35 20 with 305 30 20 for rear on factory setup wheels and spring.
I'm hoping to replace them with 275 35 20 front and 305 35 20 rear. Do you know if this will rub due to height? |

My summers are 305/35-20 in the rear and 265/40-20 in the front. I have no issues with the back and occasionally I hear what I think is rubbing in the front, normally doing 90 degree turns at low speed over bumps, but I haven't seen any abnormal wear on my tires.
I chose 265/40 for the front because it kept the front/rear overall tire height closer to even. OEM is 0.3 inches taller in the front, I am 0.1 inches taller in the rear. What you're suggesting will be 0.8 inches taller in the rear which is exactly 3% difference so should be okay and you won't have the occasional rubbing up front. I drive a stock suspension F06 with the comp package. |

Appreciate your input.
Thinking of going with pilot sport as4 so I can drive the car more with mild winter. Getting lazy swapping winter/summer tires. Michelin as4 doesn't offer 305 30 20 so my option with this brand was either 295 30 r20 or next size up was 305 35 20. Front size were available with more options. |

Recently mounted new AS4S. Feels more connected than the DWS 6+, but obviously less than PS4S during warmer temp. But the convenience of being able to hit the road and enjoy during 30f temperatures without switching wheels was my goal.
