Replacement key fob using newest model

Has anyone upgraded/changed their old style rectangle key fob to the more angular model that are being used for the new models?

I did my key with Sean, and it is an excellent upgrade. However if you have an older series 13, most functions work, except for my aftermarket coding and the identification of the key so you have to hold it against steering wheel to make it work. With the newer series 15 or better, everything works as normal. Key looks nice but not happy about it not working the WAY I EXPECTED IT. Sean was extremely cool and we worked something out but shipping your key back and forth to Shanghai is expensive and significantly adds to cost.
