New 650 Owner Looking For Wheel Guidance
so i just purchased a new to me 2013 bmw 650 i gran coupe and i'm in the market for some new wheels and tires.
the wheels i'm looking at are 20x9 in the front and 20x10 in the rear with a +20 offset. the tires i'd like to use are 245/40 and 275/35. i'm looking to add a little meat on the sidewall. the car is not lowered though i might in the future. will i have any issues with this set up? thanks and i'm looking forward to posting up pics soon! |

Congrats. I can tell you right off the bat, a 20x10 rear with a +20 offset will stick out beyond the fender. The most aggressive offset you'd wanna go on a 10" rear would be about +32. That would make you 25mm more aggressive than stock.

thanks for the reply. i guess i'll find something a little less aggressive. i can get the same wheel at +35 all around which will be a lot safer.

so i just got off the phone with bavarian autosport and according to them i should have no issues with the wheels. apparently, they don't poke out past the fender at all.
now i'm torn! i've attached links just in case. https://www.bavauto.com/bmw-wheel-2085r205120s72 https://www.bavauto.com/bmw-wheel-2010r205120s72 |

If you do some searches here, you'll see what guys are running. You can also use a wheel calculator to help. I've attached a pic of my car in which I'm running 20x10 +37. I probably could have gone 5mm more aggressive

Good luck with that. As you mentioned in post #6, a +20 will have your wheels sticking out past the fender. And then post #8 shows some wheels sticking out beyond the fender, stating yours would stick out even +2mm more. I'm not sure why you want your wheels sticking out but to each their own. It'll look nasty alright...LOL. Hopefully Bavauto has a return policy just in case you're not happy.
