TPMS Sensors for F06

Wondering if someone can point me in the right direction for a set of TPMS Sensors for the 6 GC...

I had a set of alloys that I used on my F30 but when I put that set onto the F06, the TPMS through an error every time saying it can't read the pressure etc.

This led me to believe that the F30 (2016) and the F06 (2016 too) used different sensors or the same sensors but with different frequencies?

I've seen these on Amazon:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pressure-Mo...03&sr=8-1&th=1

But in the description it says F30 too so not sure.

The part number I've come across is 36106798872

Any help/advice will be much appreciated.

Go to one of the online part database sites...enter the last 7 digits of your VIN...the pull up the diagram for the TPM sensors. Take note in the SUPPLEMENTAL columns if there are specific build date ranges for the sensors.

The reason one sensor may be for the f30 and not the f06 is build date...but then after or before a certain build date...they may be the same.

If you use the part database (based on your VIN) to look up the correct 11 digit BMW part nbr that works for your car...you can avoid these little changes that can occur...and instead of buying a part based on the model it is used on...you'll be buying based on its build date which is more specific.

realoem only gives me the rdc valve part number. Not the whole thing with the sensor.

Will keep digging!

Sorry for the image quality. The app doesn't like pictures from my Samsung :

You're looking at the wrong diagram...it looks like you scrolled down past the diagram for the TPM sensor. The TPM sensor (#4) is in the diagram with the RDC control unit (see diagram in red box below). Looks like it was right above your 373 wheel style diagram.

Legend!

Doh!

Either i'm blind or it was hiding in plain sight!

I just assumed it would categorised within the wheel parts and not on its own.

Thanks for that. I'll look into it tomorrow morning.

Question. Where is the rdc located? I can find it in the diagram but it doesn't show where it's located.

This should give you an idea of where to look. It’s small so look real close.

Thanks Qsilver. Actually a faulty valve stem was the root cause of the malfunction. Dealer replaced it and now all is well.
