650 turn signal audio warning?
Cheers everyone,
In my 340 if I engage my turn signal and there is someone in my blind spot there is an audio warning along with the flash in the wing mirror. In the 650 I get a slight vibration In the steering wheel and a flash, but no audio warning. Is there a way to activate an audio warning? Or intensify the vibration? Perhaps I’ll get used to it, but the audio warning saved us many times in a flash. Is this something that can be programmed/coded? Thanks, Aitch

BMW uses a visual and haptic (vibration in steering wheel) as the warnings for the blind spot/lane change feature.
I can't recall seeing anything in the BimmerCode app about an audible warning for the lane change option...but I may have cognitively dismissed it since an audible warning isn't something I would personally select as a warning for this option. Having an audible warning when vehicles are in your blind spot could become annoying in heavy traffic...where as the "haptic" vibration is subtle and the visual warning is obviously helpful since I'm looking at the side mirrors prior to changing lanes. But perhaps someone else will chime in if they remember seeing something of this nature in the coding selections.
