JB4 vs BootMod 3

Does anyone have much experience with these two tunes. I know they are different animals and potentially get more out of BootMod 3 But I see numerous post daily on BM3 Facebook pages of guys having issues and throwing codes often. I had this on My X5 50i (same motor) and experiences some of it as well.

This will be for my wife's daily driver that she will track from time to time at a couple of the local drag strips. While we do want the most bang for the buck she would rather give up a little HP then get malfunction messages from time to time. She absolutely does NOT want all the burbles..

Thoughts on JB4 vs BootMod3

Jb4 is just a piggyback and basically fools the dme into thinking different values. A flash tune is a complete rewrite of the dme values. Full flashes will always be better as they are a complete package.

Burbles is just a setting, you don't have to use it. I don't.

Malfunction messages are there for a reason. Better to know and address than not. Most times it's due to old plugs or coils.

I had codes with my BootMod until I changed my coil and plugs. Fix your issues and it will work great.
