I was told today by my CA that the 6MT option will not be available until 2013 as a MY 2014 option. Can anyone else confirm this?

I think 106k is a fair price, this car is amazing, much more exciting than a 911

The earliest the M6 will see a manual transmission is MY2014, but it's still not guaranteed -- per this post by a fellow member who spoke to the BMWNA M Manager at a M5/M6 VIP event.

what happened to the "brilliant white metallic"? isn't that available in the US?

For those considering a 991S over the M6, spare a thought for us here in Australia..($1 USD = $1 Australian dollar)

I would have to agree. The new 911 looks amazing and well would be more fun to drive.

I don't think you can really compare the Porsche 911 with the M6. One is a big, fast GT car and the other is a light weight, fast and nimble sports car. The Bentley Continental GT would be a better comparison with the M6...
The only thing the Porsche (pre-owned) and a brand new M6 might have in common is the price range

Yes quite different cars, though BMW themselves consider the 911 an M6 competitor, however on what basis I don't know
