That's the Night Vision camera.

It does not quite work though. They have just plopped it on the kidney grill as there are no headlight grills.

Assuming the next M3 goes to an I-6, this may be my answer.

WOWOW! Looks absolutely SENSATIONAL! I love everything about it, especially the discrete M6 badge on the grill. I definitely want to pick up an M6 Gran Coupe!!

Oh wow

Yes, I want one, in orange, with a manual box. Suddenly, the quirky looking F30 M-Sport steering wheel just got cooler!

Want it now, don't remember liking the previous M6 this instantaneously!

(ps. Fully endorse the theft of any M6 grill badges off the cars, you're doing the owner a favor.. I would immediately remove mine, yes, they had them there in the 80s, but cars are sleek now and it looks ridiculous)

Loving it! The grille kind of reminds me of the grille back in the E46 days. I guess it's because you can see it. But the small badge in the grille needs to go! Well done BMW!

(Also, LOVE that L-shaped character line or crease! It reminds me that this car is meant to go FAST!)

Very beautiful car...

...it is a bit too big for me; but otherwise it would be my car of choice.

Anyone agree that the M aerodynamic-styling fits the M6 more than the M5? This just looks ridiculously good!

agreed but still dont understand why they made that a standard on ALL M5's and M6's....It would have been nice if it came with it but could switch it off if you wanted to. Maybe its one of those things you have to see it, to understand it.....I dont know... On my previous M6 I had high flow cats and a full RPI race exhaust set up and LOVED IT.
