BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 60.00

Location:

Item Interest
This has been sitting around for a couple of years so just cleaning out the garage. Not sure the brand but fitment was good as I remembered. Will fit Msport F06, F12, F13. Made for quad tips but may fit 650 hex tips. Shipping will be extra since I'm only asking $60. I'm in Los Angeles 90250.

Just brought trim removal tools from
harbor freight and took stock diffuser off. Fitment is not like factory so had to install a few screws to get it to stay flush. I might try to remove rear bumper and secure off the car.

If you don't mind where did you use the screws? I'm thinking of taking it to a body shop. If you have any pics that's would be great.

I'm going to body shop as well. I couldn't figure out best location for screws to secure on top part of bumper.

I'm curios. When purchasing a CF diffuser (or, entire kit), would it be best to go with a full Vorsteiner kit or would it be fine to save (a lot of) money and go with individual pieces that were most likely made in China?

Maybe a combination of both?

Depends what your goal is, saving a ton of money or ease of install. Fit and finish is a gamble with the cheaper parts but you can still get lucky.

Looks good!

I have the same diffuser and the fitment is terrible. I think I just may have to take it to a body shop.

That was a good deal! I went today to 2 different body shops, one wanted $300 and the other $150. Still shopping around.

I missed out on this diffuser and have been looking on eBay, is this the diffuser that is going between $300-$400 by about 10 different vendors using the same description pictures? It's hard to tell what the finished installed product looks like by the pictures in their ads.
