Panoramic Roof Boot Replacement

Hi all,

Got a slight issue with a split rubber boot on the Pan Roof on my GC. I've seen other posts describing of the same issue being resolved. I have sent across two requests for quotes from reputable BMW specialists and interestingly have come back with differing quotes due to 'parts'.

One has quote for both exterior boots to be replaced, on OEM Parts it's numbered - 54107268971 & 54107268972

However the other Garage has quote for the interior boots to be replaced as well, numbered - 54107118875 & 54107118875

My question is for those that have come across this issue before, would you or have you changed the interior boots as well? I get it while the pan roof is off to get these replaced as part of preventative maintenance, however the price difference is quite substantial. This has got me questioning whether or not it is worth it or indeed necessary?
